Alex Khomsky was born in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from one of the best Russian Art Schools, the Stroganov Institute of Decorative Arts. His works have been shown broadly in the West - in the United States of America, France, Germany, Italy, and Israel - and are included in private and museum collections such as the Zimmerli Art Museum in New Jersey; Mr. Holl, The Swiss Ambassador in Germany; and the Omsk State Museum in Russia, among others. His works have been shown in numerous solo and group shows such as "Identities Lost and Found," a retrospective show of Russian Jewish artists from Chagall to our days. Mr. Khomsky was awarded with the Painting Grant from Somerville Art Council in 2000. Alex Khomsky is a member of the prestigious Society of Contemporary Artists in New York.
